How to add a service with a cost

How to add a service with a cost

Select the “Program Detail” Tab.

In the required block, click the “Add Service” button:

From here, a new window will open. Select the type of service you would like to add to your quotation and click “Select”.

The Suppliers Database will open in order for you to select the appropriate supplier, service and rates. Use the filters as necessary and click “Search”:

The column on the left-hand side of the screen shows a list of all the appropriate suppliers based on the search parameters that you have inserted.

The middle column shows a list of all the different room types offered by the supplier with their corresponding rates.

The right-hand column shows any important notes that have been loaded. Clicking on each title will open a new window showing the full information pertaining to the particular note.

Once you have selected the required service, click “Select”. The rates & information window will now open as follows:

Adult Standard Rate: The rate you have chosen will automatically pull through to the rates box and default to the appropriate “Charging policy” (per person or per service).
Adult supplement Single: To provide a “Single supplement”, tick the box.
Adult triple adjustment: To provide a “Triple adjustment”, tick the box.

If any amendments or corrections need to be made, you can do this manually by simply clicking on the rate box and typing the applicable rate in. Should the hotel or room type selected not be suitable for a triple, Nextour will automatically use the single rate instead.

Be sure to insert the number of nights required in the applicable block on the top right-hand side of the screen.

Supplements: Those added manually in the legs such as children, upgrades etc. can be ticked and completed manually.

In order to add in any extras (ie: Frees, guides, extras, etc), change the “Line Type” from “Rate” to “Supplement” as follows:

Pax Banded Quote: If your quote is based on a range of travellers (pax banded quote), the program detail will allow you to select the number of participants per service:

If you select a different number of passengers from the drop-down list, ensure that you pull the correct service through (ie: coach size), and that you insert the correct supplement (ie: guide/driver cost) by choosing the pax number and then clicking “Select Rate”. The Suppliers Database will open again for you to select the appropriate option.

If you have selected a specific number of participants as the defualt, you can apply this defaulted rate to all pax bases. The same applies for the supplements.

Apply main rates(s) to ALL BASES: This button duplicates the main rate selected to all the pax bases as loaded.
Apply supplements to ALL BASES: This button duplicates the supplemental rates to all the pax bases as loaded.
